Las siguientes fotos son el resultado de mis primeros encuentros con la fotografía, imágenes que surgen de manera fortuita, del jugar y del inconsciente. Las siguientes imágenes son un resumen de un trabajo mayor editado el año 2014 en Casa-K, dónde se revela la experimentación, acierto, y error, en el evento Miss Fausto (concurso de transformistas) del año 2008. Un reflejo de múltiples realidades e identidades en un espacio que se aleja de lo cotidiano.
De caras limpias a rostros pintados, de la seriedad a la alegría, o un simple renacer simbólico, todo lo que involucra aspectos del ser “humano“. La necesidad de transformarse o mostrar otros lados de uno, salirse de lo cotidiano, o el simple acto de expresar, quizás de manera artística, todo tipo de emociones. Con inspiración y mucha pasión como cualquier arte.
O el simple acto de querer ser sin definiciones.
Responder quiénes somos, es un asunto al mismo tiempo apremiante e imposible de descifrar en nuestros días, en que las posibilidades no sólo de hacer, sino de ser, se abren y cambian a cada momento, de cierto modo es una constante transformación.
En este trabajo transito en identidades, en formas de observar y de buscarle el sentido a diversos aspectos de lo humano. Distintas maneras de “ser”.

The following photos are the result of my first encounters with photography, images that arise by chance, from playing around and from the unconscious. The following images are a summary of a larger work published in 2014 at Casa-K, where experimentation, error and fortuitous snaps are revealed in the Miss Fausto event (drag queen contest) of 2008. A reflection of multiple realities and identities in a space that moves away from everyday life. From clean faces to painted faces, from seriousness to joy, or a simple symbolic rebirth, everything that involves aspects of the "human" being. The need to transform or show other or all sides of oneself, to get out of the ordinary, or the simple act of expressing, perhaps in an artistic way, all kinds of emotion with inspiration and a lot of passion like any art, the simple act of wanting to be without definitions. Answering who we are, is a matter that is both urgent and impossible to decipher nowadays days, in which the possibilities not only of doing, but of being, open up and change at every moment, in a certain way it is a constant transformation. In this work I transit through identities, in ways of observing and seeking meaning in various aspects of who we are and different ways of "being".
